We collaborate to make contemporary fine craft tile depicting Canada’s flora, fauna and history. We create this art with a sense of romance and are inspired by their natural surroundings and Canadian heritage. Most of the tiles shown are specific to personal trips and experiences.

We take our photographs and drawings from our experiences and transpose those into clay positives. The tiles are carved originally and a mold is taken of that tile. We then use a hand tile press to make each tile, stamp the back with our stamps and wait for the tile to dry for it first firing called a ‘bisque’. After this process we glaze each tile individually and fire them in our electric kilns producing those glossy rich colours.

Our triptychs, which are pieces made with three tiles depicting a landscape are in limited editions of 100 and are each signed on the back by the designing artist with its respective number. The frames are made locally in Oak and stained dark to enhance the color of the tiles.

Our tiles are great for corporate gifts. If you want to thank clients or reward employees, our Contemporary Fine Craft Tile line is a perfect economical and easily transported gift for those visiting, lecturing or retiring. Our tiles are easy to hang with their built in hanger on the back or you can purchase a hand built wooden easel to accompany the tile. We have boxes to fit our triptychs and 6x6 tiles. These works of art will make a lasting impression for years to come.

These tiles are sold trough boutiques, galleries across Canada and by us.
